Sensors (client 1): Client has been bought by a big European concern (Germany). During negotiation the concern required that client will be committing to complete certification to ISO9001:2000, show plan for cost reduction as well as reorganizing his production lines in compliance with his European production lines, all in less then one year. Client decided he needs ISOM support. ISOM established Full QA system in less then two month and client was certified to ISO9001:2000 two weeks later. In between, the QCin office identified three appropriate suppliers in China for reducing product costs in more then 35%. Client ordered ISOM to audit one of them immediately and one month later first purchase order has been set. Client was transferring his location to large site in ISRAEL. Today the project is close ending and ISOM supporting him to implement the final compliance to concern requirements.
Metal parts for dairy-farming (client 2): Client has massive purchasing of metal parts in Asia. Client decided he needs QC inspector in the region. ISOM group selected to inspect all parts as well as to supervise production time table. ISOM’s lead auditor visits the client in ISRAEL for plan appropriate audits & inspection plan as well as to learn special parts aspects needed for implementation. After guidance stage completed, client’s representative with ISOM’s lead auditor visits all suppliers site for supervising performances. ISOM uses the QA tool kit (special software) to manage & report the inspection outputs. After two years of project is running, the ISOM team has three Auditors; the plan covers more then fifty suppliers in six countries as well as nine different areas in China.
Public wireless phones (client 3): Client has won a contract supplying & installing public phones (wireless) in Africa. Client decided shifting his production to China. ISOM group selected to supervise the new production line. ISOM’s lead auditor visits the Chinese subcontractor site for pre audit. Then a preliminary period of planning was done in ISRAEL with client to add & change procedures, forms, drawing & tools for compliance with client’s requirement as well as Chinese philosophy. Next stage was guidance with Chinese subcontractor personnel, especially with his QC staff. Guidance was including usage of new forms & tools as well as supervising performances. In between, the ISOM team established QA system at subcontractor site all complying with ISO9001:2000 standard. By the end of awareness period, Pre-Production stage was started. ISOM team with subcontractor’s QC staff inspected all process stages for first batch producing. Today the project status is “before Mass production”.
Cell phones (client 4): Client has several subcontractors in Europe. ISOM group selected to implement the annual audits plan. ISOM’s lead auditor visits the subcontractors and audited their production lines. ISOM’s lead auditor was responsible for visit schedule, check lists as well as reports & corrective actions. The complete audit report was submitted to the managers of the audited departments for the implementation of effective corrective action. The audit findings are discussed with these managers and schedule for the implementation of corrective action is determined. A copy of the report was submitted to the client too.
