For this first post, I’ve been looking high and low to discover great yummy recipes! I have found DELICIOUS ones that all have been recommended by your favourite stars!!! Here we go…

Ashley Tisdale’s Breakfast Chive & Cheese Omelet
2 eggs
1 tsp. olive oil
2 tbsp. goat cheese
½ tsp. minced chives
½ grapefruit
1 slice whole-wheat or multigrain toast
1 tbsp. raspberry preserves
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions: Whisk 2 eggs (with salt and pepper to taste) and add goat cheese and ½ chives. Heat a small pan with olive oil and cook egg mixture over medium-high heat until omelet sets. Serve with grapefruit and toast topped with raspberry preserves.

Lauren Conrad’s Snack Plate
3 tbsp. red pepper hummus (or your favorite flavor!)
1 oz. sliced turkey (about 2 to 3 pieces)
½ cup sliced cucumbers
½ apple, sliced

Directions: Arrange all ingredients on a plate and snack away! (Try different flavor combos you might not normally try, like turkey wrapped around an apple slice, or cucumber-and-hummus “sandwiches.”)

Kristin Cavallari’s Pita Pizza
1 8″ whole
-wheat pita
2 tbsp. tomato sauce
1/3 cup skim shredded mozzarella
3 fresh basil leaves (optional)

Directions: Pre-heat the oven to 375 degrees F. Bake pizza for about 8 to 10 minutes until the cheese has melted and is lightly golden brown. Cut into 4 slices and serve with salad.

Fergie’s Yogurt Cup
½ cup low-fat Greek or organic yogurt, plain or vanilla flavor
2 tbsp. granola (Bear Naked or FEED brands are great—just look for fewer than 10 grams sugar per serving!)
1 cup sliced strawberries and blueberries

Directions: Layer yogurt with granola and fruit. Mix, if desired, and enjoy!

Whitney Port’s Favorite Banana Nut Smoothie
1 banana (try using frozen bananas so it’s super cold and slushy!)
1 cup almond or cashew milk
¼ tsp. vanilla
Sprinkle of cinnamon

Directions: Put banana, milk, vanilla and cinnamon in a blender. Blend well, and top with cinnamon if desired!

Annalynne McCord’s Citrus Chicken
4 oz. boneless, skinless chicken breast
2 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
2 tbsp. fresh lime juice
1tsp. extra virgin olive oil
2 tsp. olive oil
2 tsp. freshly chopped rosemary
2 tsp. freshly chopped thyme
2 cups fresh spinach
½ tsp. minced garlic
1 cup cooked fettuccine
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions: Marinate chicken breast in 1 tbsp. each of lemon and lime juice for 15 to 20 minutes. Heat 1 tsp. of extra virgin olive oil in a medium sauté pan over medium-high heat, then add chicken along with the remaining lemon and lime juice. Add rosemary and thyme, then season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook chicken about 8 minutes on each side until golden brown. Pair with two cups of fresh spinach sautéed with 2 tsp. of olive oil and ½ tsp of minced garlic. Serve over a cup of cooked fettuccine.
