About the Restaurant 
 
In 1952 our parents Sarah and Isaac Doanias founded a food stand selling kebabs in pita bread. The kebab recipe came from Izmir, Turkey.
Their food stand gained more and more customers and he was well known in the area. Over the years, he was nicknamed "Etzel HaTurki" - at the Turkish's.

In 1978 we established the stand into a small restaurant seating 20.
The restaurant slowly grew to be one of the leading restaraunts in the area with 170 seats.

The restaurant specializes in Eastern food such as salads, different types of skewers , shawarma and fish.
It also is child friendly.
We are aware of the needs of people who avoid gluten. We made sure many dishes are gluten free.
